Farahzadi School of cinema and cinema complex
Sharake-E-Gharb Area, Tehran, Iran
Executive summary
Tehran, a city rich in cultural heritage and artistic expression, has been notably devoid of a dedicated space where aspiring young cinema enthusiasts can receive professional education in the realm of cinematic arts. This absence of a nurturing environment for the development of cinematic talents has been a longstanding concern for both the local community and the broader cultural landscape.
Recognizing the pressing need to fill this void, the Institute of Children and Young Adults› Intellectual Development has taken a proactive step by envisioning a purpose-built complex in the dynamic northern district of Tehran, specifically within the Shahrak-E-Gharb neighborhood. This visionary endeavor seeks to not only address the dearth of opportunities for young individuals interested in the cinematic arts but also to create a vibrant hub that fosters creativity, collaboration, and meaningful communication among the burgeoning talents of the city.
